MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons knocked off first place MSOE on Saturday afternoon at the CUW Tennis Courts. The Falcons picked up a 7-2 victory to improve to 5-6 and to 3-1 in the NACC.
The steam of senior Thomas Melius (Slinger, Wis.) and Sophomore Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) threw the first punch with an 8-1 victory at No. 3 doubles.
Senior Watertown, Wis.) Cole Warning and junior Tim Peters (Slinger, Wis.) picked up an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles to extend the lead.
Freshman Isaac Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) and junior Logan Snyder (Franklin, Ind.) secured the doubles sweep with an 8-4 victory on court two.
Thomas Melius made quick work of Ben Steves at No. 5 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
The Raiders cut into the lead with victories on courts four and six.
Tim Peters stopped the skid with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Parkr Kuhlna at No. 2 singles.
Logan Snyder secured a 6-3, 6-0 victory at No. 1 singles over Alec Dam.
Cole Werning rallied from behind to bounce Alex Nakasato at No. 3 singles, 4-6, 6-1, 10-5.
The Falcons will prepare for Dominican on Saturday in the final home contest of the regular season.
