MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The CUW women's golf team closed its second-to-last round before the NACC Championships on Sunday with a seventh-place finish at the Carroll Classic. The Falcons recorded 397 strokes to finish tied with St. Norbert.
Senior Amy Carpenter (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) once again led the flock in 15th place at 88 strokes.
Freshman Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) recorded a round of 92 strokes in 20th place.
In 37th place was junior Payton Dorn (Freedom, Wis.) at 101 strokes.
Freshman Kayla Samann (Campbellsport, Wis.) secured a 54th place finish at 116 strokes.
Sophomore Hanah Conger (Davenport, Iowa) hit 131 strokes in 57th place.
The last round of the year before the NACC Championships will take place on April 24 at Wisconsin-Whitewater.
