GALENA, Ill. – The CUW men's golf team competed at the Clarke Spring Invite on Monday at the Galena Golf Club. The Falcons finished in eighth place as a team out of 11 teams at 330 strokes. Dubuque won the competition with 301 strokes.
Freshman Andrew Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) led the flock in 11th place at 77 strokes.
Senior Nate Benjamin (Tucson, Ariz.) shot a round of 79 strokes on Monday to finish in 21st place.
In 40th place was Sophomore Brandon Picard (Montreal, Que.) with 84 strokes.
Sophomore Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) secured a 43rd-place finish at 89 strokes on Monday afternoon.
Sophomore Carsten Zange (Robins, Iowa) rounded out the lineup in 53rd place at 92 strokes.
The Falcons return to action on Friday at the Edgewood Quad.
