RACINE, Wis. – The CUW women's golf team improved one place on Sunday t finish the NACC Championships in seventh place at 1329 strokes on the weekend. CUW rebounded on Sunday with a round of 439 strokes.
Senior Amy Carpenter (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) earned All-NACC honors in a tie for ninth place at the tournament. Carpenter recorded her lowest round of the tournament on Sunday at 93 strokes to finish the weekend with 288 strokes.
Junior Payton Dorn (Freedom, Wis.) finished in 29th place at the NACC Championships at 322 strokes. Dorn ht a round of 107 strokes to finish the tournament.
In 30th place was freshman Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) with 337 strokes. On Sunday, she finished with a round of 117 strokes.
Sophomore Hanah Conger (Davenport, Iowa) tied her best performance with 122 stokes on Sunday. She finished the tournament in 34th place with 382 strokes.
Amy Carpenter is claiming All-NACC honors for the second time in her career. She also did so during the 2018-19 season.
The Falcons will return to action once again in the 2021 Fall season.
