GALENA, Ill. – The Falcons concluded the two-day Midwest Region Classic in sixth place. The Blue and White finished with 760 strokes. Dubuque won the competition with 665 strokes.
Freshman Elizabeth Montaba (Plymouth, Wis.) led the flock in 21st place at 182 strokes.
Sophomore Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) and senior Payton Dorn (Freedom, Wis.) finished tied for 27th place at 190 strokes.
Senior Gabrielle Flocco (Castle Pines, Colo.) wrapped up the completion in 35th place at 196 strokes.
In 38th place was sophomore Kayla Samann (Campbellsport, Wis.) with 202 strokes.
CUW returns to play on Friday at the Marian Invitational.
