HARTFORD, Wis. – The Falcons men's golf team finished its first day of the WLC Fall Invitational Saturday sitting in 12th place.
The current leader of the tournament, Luther College, sits at even on the day with 360 strokes.
Senior Jordan Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) led the flock shooting one over to score a 73. This puts him within the top-10 for the tournament after day one.
Sophomore Andrew Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) posted an 81-stroke card on the day to finish in team second. Also tied for team second is junior Carsten Zange (Robins, Iowa) posting an 81 as well. Both Falcons sit at nine over on the day and in 42nd for the tournament.
Newcomer to the team freshman Nico Murgas Bennett (Hartford, Wis.) posted an 87 shot day slotting him in fourth for the Falcons.
Taking fifth for the Falcon team was freshman Nathan Ubben (Appleton, Wis.), shooting a 107 on the day and in sixth was Tyberius Neideffer, a Junior from Racine, Wisconsin.
The Falcons look to turn it around as they head back to the Washington County Golf Course for round two of the WLC Fall Invitational on Saturday.
