PLYMOUTH, Wis. – The CUW wrestling team picked up another CCIW dual victory on Friday night at Lakeland. The Falcons picked up a 35-18 victory over the Muskies.
Senior Val Kochiu (Oak Creek, Wis.) picked up the first victory for the Falcons on Friday at 125 pounds with a fall over Coleman Burgess at 1:48.
At 141 pounds, junior Gabe Rodriguez (Las Vegas, Nev.) posted a fall over J.J. Littles at 2:28.
Junior Jack O'Donnell (Huntington Beach, Calif.) picked up a forfeit victory in the 157-pound weight class.
Junior Quinn Hoopman (Cedar Grove, Wis.) won by tech fall at 21-5 over David Aragon at 165 pounds.
At 184 pounds, sophomore Peyton Smith (Milwaukee, Wis.) secured a victory by fall over Chad Cowart at 4:01.
Junior Jarrell Carey (Chicago, Ill.) won the 285 match with a victory by forfeit.
CUW returns to action on Saturday at the CCIW duals.
