WEST ALLIS, Wis. – The CUW men's cross country team competed at the Wisconsin Private College Championships on Saturday. The Falcons finished in fourth place as a team with 131 points. The Red Hawks of Ripon won with 43 points.
Junior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) earned First Team All-State honors in third place at 26:09.0.
Freshman Preston Meier (Owatonna, Minn.) finished in 33rd place at 28:54.8.
In 43rd place was freshman Avery Horvath (Greenwood, Wis.) at 29:59.8.
Freshman Mason Genke (Little Chute, Wis.) crossed the finish line at 31:09.7.
Junior Josh Peterson (Palatine, Ill.) picked up a 56th-place finish at 31:51.5.
Junior Ryan Klug (Arlington, Va.) clocked in at 32:09.5 in 61st place.
Sophomore Leo Romer (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) ran a time of 33:13.8 in 65th place.
CUW runs again on Oct. 29 at the NACC Championships at Aurora.
