Acrobatics & Tumbling Falls at No. 14 Mary-Hardin Baylor

BELTON, Texas – The CUW acrobatics & tumbling team traveled to Texas and competed at Mary-Hardin Baylor on Monday. The Crusaders broke five school records in a 259.900 victory to hand the Falcons their first loss of the season.

The Falcons scored a season-high 35.600 points in the compulsory event on Monday. The 35.6 points are the second-most in program history.  The birds posted a season-high score in all four heats, including 9.700 points in the pyramid heat and 9.650 points in the toss heat.

CUW cut into the lead with 26.850 points in the acro event. Heat three landed 9.150 points on Monday.

The Falcons scored 26.150 in the pyramid event. The Falcons scored 9.7 in heat two and 9.8 in heat three.

Concordia collected 26.350 points in the toss event to cut into the Crusaders' lead. CUW had 9.45 points in heat three.

CUW added 44.300 points in the tumbling event. The Falcons broke the school record in the quad pass with 8.050 points.

The Blue and White finished with a season-high 89.680 points in the team event.
