MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW men's tennis team hosted Marian in a rescheduled matchup from the third of April.
It was all Falcons all day with a final score of 6-0.
The Blue and White only gave up a total of nine points in the matchup after winning 60 of their own.
In doubles, the Falcons went 3-0 with an 8-0 victory in #1 doubles which saw senior Logan Snyder (Franklin, Ind.) and freshman Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.). #2 doubles saw senior Tim Peters (Slinger, Wis.) and freshman Peter Naylor (Lockport, Ill.) take the 8-1 victory. In #3 doubles, the Falcon duo of junior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) and sophomore Isaac Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) take the 8-2 victory.
In singles, the Falcons mopped the floor with the Sabres. Snyder and Sather were the only Falcons to give up any points to the Sabres, but only gave up three each. Snyder won by scores of 6-2 and 6-1 and Sather was victorious by scores of 6-1 and 6-2.
The rest of the Falcon scores went 6-0 and 6-0 across the board. In the third singles was Peters, fourth singles was Klement, fifth singles was Naylor, and sixth singles was sophomore Nathan Bilan (Greendale, Wis.).
The Falcons head into the NACC Tournament after a 9-9 regular season.
