GALENA, Ill. – The CUW men's golf team headed down to Galena, Illinois to take part in the Clarke Spring Invitational on Tuesday afternoon.
The flock took 14th overall with a total of 383 strokes.
The St. Ambrose – A team took first place with 301 total shots.
The Falcons were led by junior Isaiah Palmquist (Oshkosh, Wis.) turning in an 87-shot performance.
Tied for second place for the Blue and White were freshmen Garrett Wilderman (Waukesha, Wis.) and Joshua Maine (Tecumseh, Ont.). They came into the clubhouse with 94 total strokes on the day.
In team fourth was freshman Joshua Samsell (Bay City, Mich.) with a score of 108 strokes.
The final Falcon was sophomore Josef Schmitt (Scottsdale, Ariz.) with a score of 133 strokes.
The Falcons flip their attention to the Viking Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
