MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons shined under the sun in the lone home contest in 2022 at the Ken Weidt Classic. The Blue and White finished in third place at 87 points. The Eagles of Wisconsin-La Crosse won with 25 points.
Freshman Ainara Sainz De Rozas (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) led CUW in 20th place at 24:45.7.
Senior Micah Hill (Camdenton, Mo.) had a time of 25:48.6 in 33rd place.
Freshman Abigail Pohlman (Hubertus, Wis.) pieced together a time of 26:02.7 in 37th place.
Sophomore Ella Stader (Oostburg, Wis.) stood in 41st place at 26:25.0
In 42nd place was freshman Danielle Van Grinsven (Appleton, Wis.) at 26:26.1.
Junior Abigail Van Rixel (Athens, Wis.) ran a time of 27:11.1 in 48th place.
Junior Anessa Yim (Spokane, Wash.) followed behind in 49th place at 27:28.0.
Senior MaryGrace Cleinmark (Danvers, Ill.) finished in 50th place at 27:30.1.
Freshman Elizabeth Van Rixel (Athens, Wis.) was in 52nd place at 27:50.3 ahead of Melanie Arvis in 53rd place at 27:56.6.
Junior Holly Klomhaus (Poplar, Wis.) came in 58th place at 29:12.6.
Sophomore Lauren Pichler (Waukesha, Wis.) pushed past the finish line at 30:08.1.
Senior Kaitlyn Sabish (Campbellsport, Wis.) secured a time of 34:57.7.
The Falcons are back in action on Oct. 1 at Aurora.
