GRANVILLE, Ohio – The non-conference road trip continued for the Falcons on Saturday. The Blue and White opened the weekend with a 1-0 victory over the Big Red of Denison. The victory sends CUW to 3-0-1 on the year.

A goal kick went haywire for the Big Red when the ball went off the shin of senior Karoline Haugland (Bergen, Norway) and senior Isabel Down (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) sent the ball flying past the keeper and into the back of the net in the 83^rd minute.

The CUW was solid once again on Saturday with sophomore Brooke Braga (Belgium, Wis.) netting four saves.

The big Red posted a 15-8 advantage in shots on Saturday.

Karoline Haugland and junior Sabrina Moore (Park Ridge, Ill.) both finished with three shots in the victory.

The Falcons close their tour of Ohio on Sunday at Kenyon.
