BRISTOL, Wis. – The CUW women's golf team finished up their first tournament of the 2022-23 season on Saturday afternoon.
The Blue and white finished in 15th place with a total of 777 strokes. Leading the pack was Wisconsin – Whitewater with 621 strokes.
The Falcons were led by junior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.). Curley finished day two with 83 strokes, improving by one stroke from the day before, and taking 18th place.
Sophomore Elizabeth Montaba (Plymouth, Wis.) was second for the Falcons with a second-day score of 82 strokes and a final score of 171. She finished in 24th place.
In the middle of the Falcon squad was sophomore Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) with a final score of 218 strokes and a total of 102 for day two. Behind her was freshman Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) with a final score of 221 strokes and an 82nd-place finish.
The Falcons will compete on Thursday in the WLC Triangular.
