RACINE, Wis. – The CUW men's tennis team took on Carthage and Wisconsin-La Crosse on Friday afternoon. The Falcons fell 0-9 to Carthage to open the day and closed the day with a 7-2 loss to La Crosse.
The duo of senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) and sophomore Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) picked up the first point for the Blue and White with an 8-7 victory at No. 1 doubles. The Falcons won the tiebreaker, 7-3.
Landon Sather then sank Alex Moore at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-1.
The Falcons look to bounce back on Feb. 18 against Lawrence.
