MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis team and the St. Norbert Green Knights went back and forth throughout the match on Saturday morning. The Falcons finished the day with a 4-5 loss to move to 4-11 on the year and 1-2 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
At No. 2 doubles, junior Isaac Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) and freshman Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) cruised to an 8-1 victory.
No. 1 doubles saw sophomore Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) battle back on forth for the win, 8-7. Coming down to a tiebreaker to secure the win at 7-4.
Isaac Bruins on court five clinched the victory over Brian Colter at No. 4 singles first for the Falcons, 6-0, 6-2.
Landon Sather secured the victory over Brett Daniels at No. 1 singles, 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 6-3.
The Falcons will look to turn it around and face Illinois Tech on Sunday.
