AURORA, Ill. - The CUW men's golf team finished round three of their four-round conference tournament with a frigid 18-hole day at Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora, Illinois.
The Falcons are in seventh place with 1013 strokes. Aurora leads the Championship with 881 strokes.
Freshman Francisco Ascenio Beltra (Ibi, Spain) currently leads the Falcons with 247 strokes. His 83-stroke third round is second on the team for the day.
Sophomore Nico Murgas-Bennett and senior Trenton Sherman (Farmington, Minn.) are tied for team second with 256 total strokes. Murgas-Bennett finished with 86 day-three strokes and Sherman finished with 81.
Both sophomores Garrett Wilderman (Waukesha, Wis.) and Tyler Yaun (Rockton, Ill.) were replacements for the Falcons. Wilderman finished with 86 strokes and Yaun with 87.
The Falcons head back to the links on Monday for the final round of the 2022-23 NACC Men's Golf Championship.
