WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The Falcons avenged their NACC-opening loss to Wisconsin Lutheran with a thrilling 5-4 victory over the Warriors in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Tennis Tournament Quarterfinals.

The Falcons improve to 7-13 on the year with the victory.

The team of senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) and sophomore Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) cruised to an 8-2 victory over Asa White and Aidan Newberg at No. 1 doubles.

A key point of the match came at No. 2 doubles. The duo of freshman Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) and junior Isaac Bruins (Oak Creek, Wis.) won, 8-7 (4). Giving the Falcons a 2-1 lead after doubles play.

Aidan Newberg was no match for Landon Sather at No. 1 singles, where Sather secured a 6-2, 6-0 victory.

The Warriors responded with a point of their own on court five.

Dylan Nadolski then knocked out Jon Kannenberg at No. 3 singles with a 6-4, 6-0 victory.

The Green and White gained some ground with victories at No. 4 and No. 6 singles to tie the match at four.

The match came down to Joshua Klement at No. 2 singles. After Asa White took the first set, 6-3, Klement rallied to flip the script and took the match with a 6-1 victory in the second set and a 6-4 victory in the third set to send the Falcon to the NACC Tournament Semifinals.

The Falcons look to continue their revenge tour on Thursday night at Illinois Tech. St. Norbert will host MSOE in the second semifinal match.
