JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The CUW women's golf team finished in second place in the Country Club Classic played at Jacksonville Country Club on Monday afternoon.
Illinois College finished in first place with a total of 334 strokes.
The Blue and White totaled 368 strokes.
Sophomore Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) finished with a score of 88 and led the Blue and White with a sixth-place finish.
A score of 91 slotted senior Anne Schlageter (Mequon, Wis.) in 11th place overall.
Junior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) finished in team third with 94 strokes.
The final Falcons were freshman Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) and sophomore Kaylee McCarty (Adell, Wis.) with scores of 95 and 118 strokes respectively.
The Blue and White are back in action on April 14 with a triangular against Wisconsin Lutheran and MSOE.
