Falcons Finish Play at Midwest Region Fall Classic

KANSASVILLE, Wis. - The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team finished in 20th place with 692 strokes at the Midwest Region Fall Classic on Saturday afternoon. UW-Whitewater won the event with 623 total strokes through two rounds.

Senior Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) had the lowest score for CUW as she shot an 81 in round two for a total of 168 strokes.

Day two also saw freshman Ava Litkey (Kenosha, Wis.) cut five strokes off her score as she shot an 83. With 171 total strokes, Litkey placed 77th overall.

In third for the Falcons was Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.), who finished her day with a score of 89 strokes and 175 total strokes.

Sophomore Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) moved up the leaderboard on Saturday and shot an 87, four strokes better than the day before, to move into 133rd place with 178 total strokes.

Rounding out the Falcons lineup was freshman Mady Doering (Appleton, Wis.), who took 149th place, registering 191st total strokes through 36 holes.

The Blue and White now look ahead to the NACC Championships hosted by Rockford on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
