SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's triathlon team competed at the USA Triathlon West Regional Qualifier on Saturday morning. Concordia had two student-athletes compete on Saturday. The Falcons finished in 16th place as a team with 46 points with teams from all three NCAA divisions.
Sophomore Anna Mattke (Fox Point, Wis.) finished in 103rd place on Saturday at 1:28.00. She started the day with a swim time of 13:16 with a 53-second transition. In the bike race, she had a time of 42:29 with a 0:54 second transition. Mattke closed the day with a 29:35 running time.
Junior Darya Gunderman (Minneapolis, Minn.) had an 18:46 swim time with a 0:57 transition.
The Falcons close the season at the USA Triathlon Division III Championships on Nov. 9.
