Women's Golf Stays in Sixth Place at NACC Championships

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team competed at the second round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Golf Championships. The Falcons dropped six strokes from Saturday with a combined score of 388 strokes on Sunday. The Falcons are now in sixth place as a team with 782 strokes. The Spartans of Aurora lead after two days at 625 strokes after a round of 318 on Sunday.

Senior Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) led the flock again on Sunday and dropped eight strokes from Saturday with a round of 80 on Sunday. She is currently in the hunt for All-NACC honors in 12th place at 168 strokes.

Junior Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) improved a stroke from Saturday with a round of 88 strokes. She is currently in 20th place with 179 strokes

Freshman Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) had a two-stroke improvement on Sunday at 106 strokes. She heads into the final round in 40th place with 214 strokes.

Senior Paige Zirbel (De Pere, Wis.) rounded out the lineup with 113 strokes on Sunday and is in 41st place at 221 strokes at the championship.

The Falcons close the three-day tournament on Monday.
