GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's cross country team opened the 2024 season on Saturday morning at the St. Norbert Tom Berry Invite. The Falcons finished sixth as a team with 190 points. Wisconsin-Green Bay of NCAA Division I won with 23 points.
Senior Timmy Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) led all NCAA Division III runners in sixth place overall at 19:33.16.
Freshman Jonah Slavik (Muskego, Wis.) finished in 26th place at 20:31.92.
Junior Preston Meier (Owatonna, Minn.) crossed the finish line at 21:00.33 in 41st place.
In 65th place was sophomore Mason Everts (Saukville, Wis.) at 21:59.93.
Eric Krause clocked in at 25:50.25 in 110th place, just ahead of Riley in 111th place at 25:54.12.
The Falcons will return to racing on their home course on Sept. 14 at the Ken Weidt Classic.
