WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team opened the first of three days at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Golf Championships on Saturday morning at St. Andrews Golf and Country Club. The Falcons are in seventh place after day one with 371 strokes. The Spartans of Aurora lead Marian and St. Norbert by three strokes at 322 strokes.
Emma Laundrie of St. Norbert and Yinan Lu of Marian lead at 76 strokes.
Freshman Alexa Cour (Rome, Wis.) leads the Falcons in 22nd place with 88 strokes.
In 28th place is senior Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) with 92 strokes.
Senior Paige Zirbel (De Pere, Wis.) stands in 34th place with 95 strokes.
Junior Ava Stortz (Slinger, Wis.) recorded 96 strokes on Saturday and is in 35th place.
Freshman Elizabeth Albers (Green Bay, Wis.) ended the day with 99 strokes and is in 37th place.
Sophomore Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) rounded out the action for the Falcons on Saturday with 109 strokes in 44th place.
The Falcons will go again for round two on Sunday.
