Men’s Golf Plays at MSOE on Monday

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's golf team closed the MSOE Fall Invitational on Monday morning. The Falcons finished in seventh place with 632 strokes. The Birds hit 321 strokes on Monday. MSOE won the crown with 596 strokes.

Freshman Grant Hamm (Slinger, Wis.) had the low round of the day for Concordia at 78 strokes. He finished tied for 15th place at 154 strokes.

Freshman Jack MacGillis (Plymouth, Wis.) also tied for 15th place at 154 strokes after a round of 80 strokes on Monday. His day was highlighted with an eagle on hole four.

Sophomore Dylan Smith (Amherst, Wis.) struck 83 strokes on Monday and finished in 33rd place at 162 strokes. He also had a birdie on hole nine.

Junior Isaac Seidel (Wausau, Wis.) had 84 strokes on Monday morning to finish in 40th place at 165 strokes. He notched a birdie on hole eight.

Sophomore Ray Baldus (Mayville, Wis.) also posted a round of 84 strokes and ended in 43rd place at 166 strokes. Baldus brought in a birdie on hole four.

Sophomore Tyler Klett (Paw Paw, Mich.) had the biggest improvement on Monday, shaving nine strokes from Sunday at 80 strokes and closed the day in 46th place at 169 strokes. Klett sank a birdie on hole No. 12.

Junior Reece Stoltenow (Bonduel, Wis.) also dropped six strokes from Sunday with a round of 86 strokes and moved up to 49th place at 178 strokes. Stoltenow ended the day with a birdie on hole No. 11.

The Falcons will gear up for the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Golf Championships that begin on Saturday at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wisconsin.
