Falcons Post Fifth Place Finish to Conclude NACC Championships

WEST CHICAGO, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team capped their fall slate after finishing in fifth place at  the 2025 Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference's (NACC) Championships. CUW jumped Benedictine to secure their fifth in the competition with1066 strokes. 
 
Aurora won the team title at 932 strokes. Yinan Lu (222) of Marian won the individual title and was named the NACC Player of the Year. Thanpimol Tharpanawongwech of Aurora was award Freshman of the Year honors after tying for third place (230).
 
Freshman Alexa Cour (Rome, Wis.) stayed inside the top-20 after the final round. Cour finished +42 (88-82-85) and scored a birdie on her first hole of the day. The freshman tied for 18th to complete her first conference tournament.
 
Senior Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) shot 50 over par (92-85-86) to place 26th in the tournament. Senior Paige Zirbel (De Pere, Wis.) was not far behind her teammate in 30th. Zirbel had a great day on the course scoring an 86 on the final 18 holes. Overall, the senior shot +60 (95-92-86).
 
Junior Ava Stortz (Slinger, Wis.) also had a great final round on the course. She scored a season best round of 90 on the final day. Stortz placed 35th, scoring +66 (96-93-90). Just two spots behind her was freshman Elizabeth Albers (Green Bay, Wis.). Albers moved up two spots after scoring 86 on the final day. The freshman finished 73 over par (99-101-86) to take 37th.
 
Sophomore Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) was final Falcon in CUW's lineup. Hahn placed 41st at +80 (109-93-91). During the final round the sophomore shot her first birdie of the day on hole four.
