HANOVER PARK, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis team picked up a 4-3 victory at Wheaton on Saturday afternoon. The victory propels CUW to 2-3 on the young season.
The Falcons started the day by winning the key doubles point.
Senior Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) secured a 6-4 victory at No. 1 doubles.
At No. 2 doubles, freshman Hayden Latus (Waukesha, Wis.) and sophomore Renan Revite (São Bernardo do campo, Brazil) won, 6-4.
Landon Sather sank Tim Steiner at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-2.
Junior Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) rallied to defeat Toby Schmidt at No. 6 singles, 1-6, 6-2, 10-8.
Renan Revite clinched the victory with a 1-6, 7-6 *3), 10-8 thriller at No. 4 singles over Corin Tang.
The Falcons will return to action in sunny Florida on Friday against Alma.
