ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis team closed the book on spring break on Wednesday against Wentworth. The gusty breezes of Lake Michigan helped prepare the Falcons for a blustery day in the Orlando area and helped the Falcons secure a 7-0 victory. The win pushes the Falcons to 4-6 on the year.
Senior Joshua Klement (Muskego, Wis.) strick first before the rain a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 4 singles over Eric Doraci.
Senior Benjamin Vorpahl (Sheboygan, Wis.) vanquished Liam Aguirre at No. 6 singles, 6-2, 6-0.
Junior Dylan Nadolski (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) knocked out Thomas Kot at No. 5 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Freshman Ryan Bilan (Greendale, Wis.) bounced James Weete at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-1.
Sophomore Renan Revite (São Bernardo do campo, Brazil) wrangled Pranav Marwah at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-1.
Freshman Hayden Latus (Waukesha, Wis.) downed Andre Juscamaita at No. 1 singles, 6-4 7-6 (6).
At No. 2 doubles, senior Landon Sather (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and Joshua Klement won, 6-0.
Ryan Bilan and Dylan Nadolski downed Wentworth at No. 3 doubles, 6-1.
Hayden Latus and Renan Revite secured the clean sheet with a 7-5 victory at No. 1 doubles.
The Falcons return to action in Wisconsin on March 22 as the open Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play against Wisconsin Lutheran.
