Women's Golf Posts Season-Best Score at Whitewater

JANESVILLE, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team opened the final competition of the season on Friday afternoon at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Spring Invite. The Falcons are in seventh place as a team with 367 strokes. The 367 strokes are the lowest round of the year for the Falcons.

Senior Elizabeth Montaba (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) led the flock in 17th place at 82 strokes.

Junior Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) is in 44th place with 92 strokes. Grahn landed two birdies on the afternoon.

Senior Paige Zirbel (De Pere, Wis.) had a career-best day and broke 100 for the first time in her career in 48th place at 92 strokes.

Sophomore Ava Stortz (Slinger, Wis.) stands alone in 52nd place at 99 strokes.

Freshman Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) is in 60th place with 116 strokes.

The Falcons close the season on Saturday in the second and final round at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Spring Invite.
