Men's Golf Shoots Season-Best Score at Monmouth

MONMOUTH, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's golf team recorded its best round of the season at the Monmouth Fighting Scot Invite on Sunday. The Falcons had their best round of the year at 315 strokes to finish the two-day tournament in 10th place at 659 strokes.

Freshman Ray Baldus (Mayville, Wis.) led the flock in 33rd place at 162 strokes. He dropped four strokes from Saturday with a round of 79 on Sunday.

Junior Trevor Wotring (Johnsburg, Ill.) improved 10 strokes from Saturday and finished in 43rd place at 164 strokes with a round off 77 on the scorecard.

In 47th place was freshman Dylan Smith (Amherst, Wis.) at 165 strokes. He had a seven-stroke improvement from Saturday at 79 strokes.

Senior Garrett Wilderman (Waukesha, Wis.) had the biggest improvement from Saturday, dropping 11 strokes at 80 strokes on Sunday, finishing in 54th place at 171 strokes.

Sophomore Kean O'Neil (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) shot another round of 88 strokes on Sunday to finish in 58th place at 176 strokes.

The Falcons will compete again on Thursday at the Carthage Spring Invite.
