MEQUON, Wis. – For the first time in its young history, the Bird Bowl will not go home with the Falcons. Edgewood defeated Concordia Wisconsin on Saturday 360 to 378 to claim the Bird Bowl for the first time.
Freshman Alexa Cour (Rome, Wis.) was the individual champion on Saturday at 82 strokes.
Senior Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) finished in fourth place at 90 strokes.
Senior Paige Zirbel (De Pere, Wis.) had 94 strokes on Saturday in sixth place.
Sophomore Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) had 112 strokes in ninth place.
Freshman Brooklyn Burmeister (Lombard, Wis.) brought in 125 strokes in 11th place.
Freshman Elizabeth Albers (Green Bay, Wis.) finished the round with 130 strokes in 12th place.
Junior Norah Hau (Milwaukee, Wis.) rounded out the flock in 13th place at 138 strokes.
The Falcons will go at it again on Friday at the Midwest Region Fall Classic in Kansasville, Wisconsin.
