MADISON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team started play at the Edgewood University Fall Invite on Sunday afternoon. In the 14-team tournament, the Falcons are in 11th place after day one with 375 strokes. St. Norbert leads the pack at 319 strokes.
Senior Paige Zirbel (De Pere, Wis.) had the best round for the Falcons at 90 strikes in 41st place.
Freshman Alexa Cour (Rome, Wis.) opened the day with a birdie and is in 45th place at 92 strokes.
Senior Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) landed a birdie on hole No. 13 and sits in 49th place at 93 strokes.
Freshman Elizabeth Albers (Green Bay, Wis.) ended the afternoon with 97 strokes in 61st place.
Junior Ava Stortz (Slinger, Wis. secured 100 stroke and stands in 68th place.
Sophomore Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) hit 108 strokes on Sunday afternoon and sits in 81st place.
Vivien Ninham of St. Norbert is the leader in the clubhouse at 75 strokes.
The Falcons close the tournament on Monday.
