FOND DU LAC, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin women's golf team sits in eight at +94 (382 strokes) after day one of the Marian University Invite. Hosted by fellow NACC member Marian University, the eight teams played at Rolling Meadows Golf Club today.
Leading the charge for CUW was freshman
Alexa Cour (Rome, Wis.). Cour shot +17 and is currently tied for 27th. Sophomore
Paige Zirbel (De Pere, Wis.) and senior
Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) are currently back-to-back in T38th and T-39th, respectively. Zirbel shot +24 and Grahn completed the round at +25.
Rounding out the Falcons lineup was junior
Ava Stortz (Slinger, Wis.) and freshman
Elizabeth Albers (Green Bay, Wis.). Stortz is at +28 and is currently in 44th. Albers sits in 47th after shooting +43.
The Falcons return to action tomorrow, with the second round being played at Whispering Springs. CUW is set to tee off at 8:16 a.m.
