WHITEWATER, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's track and field team took on the first day of competition of the Squig Converse Invite. Hosted by UW-Whitewater, the only event the women's squad competed in today was the pentathlon.
Freshman
Lydia Boehlke (High Ridge, Mo.) competed in the multi event for the Falcons. Boehlke's best event was the shot put were she reached 7.89 to place tenth in the event for 392 points. The freshman also earned 621 points in the 60m hurdles, with a time of 10.50. Boehlke took 11th in the event with 2252 points.
The rest of the team will compete tomorrow in day two of meet. The field athletes will begin competition at 11 a.m. and the running events will follow at 12:30 p.m.
