BRADENTON, Fla. – The Concordia University Wisconsin women's golf team concluded its spring break trip Tuesday at the New College Spring Women's Invitational, hosted by New College of Florida at The River Club. Competing in a triangular with Florida College, the Falcons finished in second place with a team score of 1231 (399-417-415).
Freshman
Alexa Cour (Rome Wis.) led the Falcons throughout the tournament finishing in seventh place with a final score of +63 (92-92-95). Senior
Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) was not far behind her teammate in ninth at +91 (95-107-105).
WEDNESDAY
Alexa Cour remains in sixth place overall after posting a 20-over-par round for the second consecutive day.
Shauna Grahn held eighth place at +58 (95-107) following Wednesday's round.
TUESDAY
Cour, paced the Falcons with a 20-over-par 92. She recorded the team's lone birdie on the front nine, sinking a putt on the fourth hole.
Grahn, carded a 23-over 95 and highlighted her round with a birdie on the par-4 13th.
Junior
Ava Stortz (Slinger, Wis.), freshman
Elizabeth Albers (Green Bay, Wis.), and sophomore
Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) also competed in the team lineup.
Kirsten Krause (Pocatello, Idaho) and junior
Norah Hau (Milwaukee, Wis.) represented CUW as individuals.
The Falcons return to action on March 29 with the fourth edition of the Bird Bowl against Edgewood. The location for the dual match is yet to be announced.
