RIPON, Wis. – Freshman
Sophia Wunderlich (Greenville, Wis.) represented the Concordia University Wisconsin women's track and field team at the Ripon Final Qualifier on Saturday, aiming to record a mark that would qualify for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Wunderlich competed in the women's triple jump and posted a personal-best mark of 11.28 meters on her first attempt. The jump also ranks as the third-best performance in program history.
The Falcons will now await the official selections for the national championships in Birmingham, Alabama. The NCAA will announce the qualifiers on Sunday, March 8 at 7 p.m. ET on NCAA.com.
