WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Morningstar Masters, hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran at Morningstar Golfers Club. The Falcons finished 12th overall, while Dubuque claimed the team title.
CUW showed improvement in the final round, carding a 312 (+24) on Tuesday after battling difficult conditions on day one.
Sophomore
Ray Baldus (Mayville, Wis.) led the Falcons' charge on day two, firing a 75 (+3) after opening with an 83 (+11). His 10-stroke improvement helped him climb 10 spots into a tie for 50th.
Junior
Isaac Seidel (Wausau, Wis.) finished second for CUW with a two-day total of 160 (+16). He improved by two strokes in the final round, carding a 79 after an opening-round 81.
Freshman
Jack MacGillis (Plymouth, Wis.) posted a 165 (+21) to tie for 63rd, while sophomore
Dylan Smith (Amherst, Wis.) jumped four spots into a tie for 65th after a strong 77 on day two, finishing at 166 (+22).
Freshman
Grant Hamm (Slinger, Wis.) rounded out the Falcons' lineup, placing 67th overall with a 169 (+25).
Day One Recap
The Falcons opened the tournament in challenging conditions, battling rain and strong winds to post a 334 (+46) and sit 12th overall.
Seidel led CUW in the opening round, carding an 81 (+9) and sitting tied for 54th, highlighted by a birdie on the 12th hole.
Baldus and MacGillis followed with rounds of 83 (+11) and 84 (+12), placing tied for 60th and tied for 63rd, respectively. Hamm and Smith rounded out the lineup with scores of 86 (+14) and 89 (+17).
CUW will close out its 2025–26 season at the Viking Spring Invite, hosted by Augustana. The tournament is scheduled to begin Saturday, April 26, at Highland Springs Golf Course in Rock Island, Illinois.
