Men’s Golf Opens Viking Invitational

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Concordia Wisconsin men's golf team opened play at the Augustana Viking Invitational on Saturday. After the first day, the Falcons sit in eighth place at 322 strokes.

Sophomore Ray Baldus (Mayville, Wis.) leads the flock in fourth place at 73 strokes. He landed two birds on the day and posted an eagle at hole No. 11.

Sophomore Dylan Smith (Amhurst, Wis.) is in 34th place at 81 strokes and had his day highlighted by a birdie at No.2.

Freshman Jack MacGillis (Plymouth, Wis.) trailed Smith by a stroke at 82 strokes in 37th place.

Freshman Kyle Smith (Davenport, Iowa) and sophomore Tyler Klett (Paw Paw, Mich.) are tied for 44th place at 86 strokes.

The Falcons close the year on Sunday in the final round in Illinois.
