Women’s Golf Tees off at Augustana

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's golf team opened the final tournament of the season on Saturday at the Augustana Viking Invitational. The Falcons are in seventh place after the first round at 367 strokes.

Freshman Alexa Cour (Rome, Wis.) leads the Blue and White after the first day in ninth place at 82 strokes. She also had the only birdie of the day for Concordia at hole No. 11.

In 23rd place is senior Shauna Grahn (New Berlin, Wis.) at 88 strokes.

Senior Paige Zirbel (De Pere, Wis.) put together a round of 97 strokes in 39th place.

Sophomore Kiera Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) headed into the clubhouse in 43rd place at 100 strokes.

Junior Ava Stortz (Slinger, Wis.) rounded out the flock with 108 strokes in 45th place.

The Falcons close the season on Sunday at Augustana.
