Men’s Golf Finishes Eighth at Augustana

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's golf team closed the book on the 2026-27 season on Sunday at the Augustana Viking Invitational. The Falcons improved nine strokes from Saturday with a round of 313 strokes to finish in eighth place at 635 strokes.

Sophomore Dylan Smith (Amherst, Wis.) had the best round of the day at 75 strokes. He finished in 22nd place with 156 strokes. He finished with two birdies on the day at holes two and 11.

Sophomore Ray Baldus (Mayville, Wis.) had the best finish for the Falcons in 11th place at 151 strokes. He finished Sunday with a round of 78 strokes. Baldus brought in birdies at two and nine.

In 38th place was freshman Kyle Smith (Davenport, Iowa) at 164 strokes. He improved eight strokes from Saturday and recorded a round of 78 strokes on Sunday. Smith led the Falcons with three birdies in round two.

Freshman Jack MacGillis (Plymouth, Wis.) finished the tournament in 40th place after a round of 83 strokes on Sunday to finish the two-day tournament at 165 strokes. MacGillis finished the tournament with birdies on the fourth and 11th holes.

Sophomore Tyler Klett (Paw Paw, Mich.) shaved four strokes from Saturday at 82 strokes on Sunday to finish in 43rd place with 168 strokes.  

The Falcons return to action in the fall of 2026.
