WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women posted a strong start at the 2026 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Track & Field Championships on Friday. The Falcons claimed one individual title and are in third place with 40 points. The Green Knights of St. Norbert lead the way with 87 points.
Senior Ainara Sainz de Rozas (Madrid, Spain) was golden again on Friday, taking the 10000-meter crown at 39:06.08. Junior Emma Ahrens (Stephens City, Va.) finished in second place at 39:27.09. junior Sydney Leschisin (Turtle Lake, Ind.) was 14th at 46:40.94.
Senior Kate Kotula (Wyomissing, Pa.) claimed the silver medal in the pole vault at 3.11 meters. Junior Caitlyn Weitzel (Fallston, Md.) was fifth at 2.96 meters.
The triple jump pit saw freshman Sophia Wunderlich (Greenville, Wis.) secure the bronze medal at 11.04 meters. Sophomore Amiyah Jackson (Beaver Dam, Wis.) finished eighth and Kate Kotula was ninth both at 10.26 meters.
Two Falcons scored in the javelin competition with junior Morgan Feuker (Mount Pleasant, Wis.) in seventh place at 29.32 meters and Amiyah Jackson in eighth place at 29.27 meters. Junior Paige Scriber (Dousman, Wis.) was ninth at 27.81 meters and junior Ashley Burk (Watertown, Wis.) was 10th at 27.17 meters.
Halfway through the heptathlon, freshman Lydia Boehlke (High Ridge, Mo.) is in the hunt. She finished fifth in the 200-meter dash at 28.88, 10th in the 100-meter hurdles at 19.23, fifth in the high jump at 1.42 meters,
Four Falcons competed in the discus throw on Friday with sophomore Makenna Herbrand (Fond du Lac, Wis.) leading the way in 15th place at 30.86 meters. Junior Bryanna Mursch (Grafton, Wis.) was 16th at 29.35 meters, with Morgan Feuker in 20th place at 27.23 meters and freshman Christabel Olusegun (Milwaukee, Wis.) in 21st at 25.66 meters and fifth in the shot put at 8.62 meters.
Sophomore Jacey Read (Carbondale, Colo.) qualified for the 100-meter dash finals on Saturday with a second-place finish at 12.85.
The Falcons landed two qualifiers in the 200-meter dash with Jacey Read in second place at 26.18 and Sophia Wunderlich in sixth place at 26.53.
Freshman Adalin Nodolf (Ripon, Wis.) will represent CUW in the 400-meter dash finals after placing eighth at 1:07.78.
The 800-meter run saw senior Danielle Van Grinsven (Appleton, Wis.) qualify in second place at 2:25.08.
Junior Olivia Ebel (Mount Clemens, Mich.) will race in the 400-meter hurdles finals on Saturday after finishing fourth at 1:11.30. Freshman Callynn Strausser (Sheboygan, Wis.) just missed the cut in 10th place at 1:17.10.
The Falcons close the championships on Saturday.
