LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's track & field team put on a show on the final day of qualifying at the Wisconsin-La Crosse Final Qualifier. The Falcons posted two of the very best times in the nation on Thursday night.
Senior Ainara Sainz de Rozas (Madrid, Spain) broke her own school record in the 1500-meter run with a winning time of 4:27.56. Her time currently ranks 17th in NCAA Division III.
Junior Emma Ahrens (Stephens City, Va.) closed the season in the 5000-meter run on Thursday and won the competition at 17:18.59. Ahrens ranked 42nd in the nation with a time of 16:57.82 from her performance at Platteville.
The NCAA will announce its qualifiers for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.
