MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Athletics Department, under the leadership of Dr. Rob Barnhill, has announced the hiring of Colin Dominski as Director of Human Performance.
"We are very excited to announce the hiring of Colin as our new head strength and conditioning coach," said Dr. Rob Barnhill. "During the interview process, it became clear that he is a great fit and will provide our student-athletes with the development they need. His vision for our strength program aligns with ours, and his enthusiasm and desire to improve performance fit our needs at this time."
Dominski comes to Concordia from Aurora University, where he served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
"To me, this role is about much more than designing workouts," said Dominski. "It's an opportunity to positively impact athletes by helping them become stronger, healthier and more resilient, while building habits that contribute to success both in sport and in life. As a head strength and conditioning coach, I see myself as a leader who creates a culture of accountability, hard work and continuous improvement. My goal is to help every athlete reach their full potential while collaborating with coaches and support staff to contribute to the overall success of the program."
Dominski earned a master's degree in exercise science from Aurora in 2023. He interned with the strength and conditioning staff from 2021-23 before being hired as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
In that role, he oversaw football, flag football, men's volleyball, men's lacrosse, men's and women's wrestling, and men's and women's golf. During his tenure, he was part of 13 conference championship teams and one national champion over three years.
Dominski is originally from New Lenox, Illinois.
