HARTFORD, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin men's golf team finished in 16th place with a team score of 812 strokes (+58) in the WLC Fall Invitational at the Washington Springs Golf Course on Sunday. Highland Community College (IL) finished in the top spot, while Bryant & Stratton (WI) and Carthage finished in second and third place, respectively.
Sophomore Grant Hamm (Slinger, Wis.) led the Falcons with a score of 73 (+1) in round one and 78 (+6) in round two for a total score of 151 strokes (+7), tying for 26
th place.
Junior Ray Baldus (Mayville, Wis.) followed up with a round one score of 77 (+5) and a round two score of 85 (+13) for a total score of 162 (+18), tying for 74
th place.
Freshman Aaron Federwisch (Elkhart Lake, Wis.) shot 75 (+3) in the first round and 88 (+16) in the second round for a total score of 163 (+19), tying for 79
th place.
Junior Logan Mayer (Stevens Point, Wis.) posted a score of 83 strokes (+11) in the first round and 83 strokes (+11) in the second round for a total score of 166 (+22) to tie for 85
th place.
Junior Dylan Smith (Amherst, Wis.) rounded out the Birds with a score of 90 (+18) in the first round and 80 (+8) in the second round for a total score of 170 (+26), tying for 91
st place.
The Falcons will travel to Superior, Wisconsin to compete in the Twin Ports Collegiate on Sept. 18-19.
