Isaiah Lubner Named NACC Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. - The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athlete of the Week awards for cross country on Wednesday morning, as voted on by the league's athletic communications professionals.

Senior Isaiah Lubner was named the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week for men's cross country for the sixth time in his career.

The Campbellsport, Wisconsin native earned the individual championship at the 34th Annual Ken Weidt Classic on Saturday with a winning time of 25:54.5.

Last season, Lubner claimed this honor four times and was also named the NACC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Year for the first time.

The senior was also named the Division III National Male Athlete of the Week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday for the first time in his career.

Lubner and Concordia Wisconsin will travel to Northfield, Minnesota on Sept. 19 to compete in the St. Olaf Invitational.
