SUPERIOR, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin women's golf team finished in 11th place with a team score of 755 strokes (+187) at the 8th Annual Twin Ports Collegiate on Saturday, hosted by UW-Superior at Nemadji Golf Course. UW-Eau Claire came out on top, while Northwestern St-Paul and UW-Superior finished in second and third, respectively.
Sophomore Lexi Cour (Rome, Wis.) led the Birds with a final round score of 88 strokes (+17) and a tournament total of 169 (+27) to tie for 26th place overall.
Sophomore Elizabeth Albers (Green Bay, Wis.) followed up with a 100 (+29) on day two for a total score of 193 (+51) to earn 56th place.
Freshman Lauren Boon (Marshfield, Wis.) posted a round two score of 97 (+26) and a final score of 195 (+53) to finish in 57th place.
Junior Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) carded a 101 (+30) in the final round for a total score of 198 (+56) to finish in 59th place.
Freshman Annika Lechner (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) recorded a round-two score of 104 (+33) and a tournament total of 206 (+64) to earn 65th place.
Senior Ava Stortz (Slinger, Wis.) rounded out the Falcons with a 108 (+37) in the final round for a tournament total of 217 (+75), finishing in 74th place.
The Birds will travel to Kansasville, Wisconsin to compete in the Midwest Region Fall Classic on Sept. 25-26.
