Wauwatosa, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin women's soccer team (2-4, 1-1 NACC) fell to the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors (5-0, 1-0 NACC) 5-2 on Saturday night at Wisconsin Lutheran High School.

The Warriors struck early when junior forward Morgan Bluhm received the ball deep in the box and fired it into the back of the net from close range to give her team a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute.

Bluhm netted another goal in the 21st minute to double Wisconsin Lutheran's lead.

Junior forward Ava Zarling capped off the scoring for her team in the first half when she added a goal in the 29th minute.

Just before the end of the first frame, the Falcons responded as freshman midfielder Christine Long (Cedarburg, Wis.) slotted the ball into the bottom left corner of the net for her first collegiate goal.

At the half, Wisconsin Lutheran led 3-1 with a 12-3 advantage in total shots.

Coming out of the second half, Zarling recorded her second goal of the night in the 54th minute to give the Warriors a 4-1 lead.

In the 63rd minute, sophomore forward Koffy'e Chappel (Oakland, Calif.) got herself onto the scoresheet, chasing down a pass and slotting it into the back of the net to cut the Falcons' deficit to two goals. This marked her fourth goal in two games.

Wisconsin Lutheran earned a penalty kick in the 69th minute, and junior defender Ginny Shade stepped up and fired into the right side of the net for her team's fifth goal of the night.

The Warriors held on to their lead for the rest of the match, earning their first conference win of the season.
