Men's Golf Competes at Midwest Region Fall Classic

KANSASVILLE, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin men's golf team tied for 33rd place with a team score of 315 (+27) after the first day of competition at the Midwest Region Fall Classic, hosted by Benedictine at Brighton Dale Links. 

Aurora's B team was atop the leaderboard after the first round, while Carthage's B team and DePauw placed second and third, respectively.

Sophomore Grant Hamm (Slinger, Wis.) led the Falcons on day one with a score of 75 (+3), tying for 53rd place.

Junior Ray Baldus (Mayville, Wis.) followed up with a 79 (+7) in round one to tie for 130th place.

Sophomore Jack MacGillis (Plymouth, Wis.) shot a 80 (+8) in the first round, tying for 149th place.

Junior Logan Mayer (Stevens Point, Wis.) posted a score of 81 (+9) to tie for 163rd place.

Junior Dylan Smith (Amherst, Wis.) rounded out the Birds with a score of 82 (+10), tying for 179th place.

The Falcons will compete in round two on Saturday with tee times to be announced.
