Women's Golf Tied for 29th at Midwest Region Fall Classic

KANSASVILLE, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin women's golf team tied for 29th place with a team score of 381 (+93) after the first day of competition at the Midwest Region Fall Classic, hosted by Benedictine at Brighton Dale Links.

Aurora was atop the leaderboard after the first round, while Carthage and Northwestern-St.Paul placed second and third, respectively.

Sophomore Lexi Cour (Rome, Wis.) led the Falcons on day one, posting a score of 85 (+13) to tie for 62rd place.

Senior Ava Stortz (Slinger, Wis.) followed up with a score of 90 (+18), tying for 105th place.

Sophomore Elizabeth Albers (Green Bay, Wis.) shot a 102 (+30) in round one to tie for 166th place.

Freshman Lauren Boon (Marshfield, Wis.) posted a score of 104 (+32) to finish in 174th place.

Junior Kierra Hahn (Muscatine, Iowa) rounded out the Birds with a score of 106 (+34) to tie for 179th place after round one.

The Falcons will compete in round two on Saturday with tee times to be announced.
