Men's Golf Earns 30th at Midwest Region Fall Classic

KANSASVILLE, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin men's golf team finished in 30th place with a team score of 619 (+43) at the Midwest Region Fall Classic to conclude the tournament hosted by Benedictine at Brighton Dale Links.

Aurora's B team and DePauw tied for first place, while Albion and Carthage's B team tied for third place.

Junior Ray Baldus (Mayville, Wis.) led the Falcons with a final round score of 70 (-2) and a tournament total of 149 (+5) to tie for 42nd place. His final round score was his best of the season and possibly the first bogey-free round in school history.

Sophomore Grant Hamm (Slinger, Wis.) followed up with a day two score of 78 (+6) for an overall score of 153 (+9), tying for 87th place.

Sophomore Jack MacGillis (Plymouth, Wis.) posted a round score of 77 (+5) for a total score of 157 (+13) to tie for 141st place.

Junior Dylan Smith (Amherst, Wis.) shot a 79 (+7) on day two for a tournament total of 161 (+17), tying for 176th place.

Junior Logan Mayer (Stevens Point, Wis.) rounded out the Birds with a round two score of 84 (+12) and a total score of 165 (+21) to tie for 201st place.

The Birds will travel to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin to compete in The Grand Intercollegiate on Oct 4 and 5.
